What is Studdy Buddy?
StuddyBuddy connects researchers to potential participants (you!) through an easy to use platform so researchers can complete their studies and you can make money, learn new things, possibly get some complimentary health care, and contribute to society.
Who can use Studdy Buddy?
Anybody with a smartphone or computer can use Studdy Buddy. There is a Studdy for every Buddy!
Is participating safe?
Short answer: Yes. Research studies have to be approved by an IRB (institutional review board) in order to conduct their research. This panel of individuals ensures protocols are safe for participants. If you find a research study on here, they will be IRB approved. If there are any risks involved, they will be clearly explained by the researchers before you participate.
What do I get out of using Studdy Buddy?
You can find and participate in research studies that may pay you, teach you something new, provide free health screens or procedures, and most importantly contribute to society’s shared scientific knowledge base.
How does Studdy Buddy work?
Potential participants begin by making an account. Once you have made an account, you’ll be dropped into the studies page where you can find studies that interest you. When you find one that you would like to participate in or get more information, click the connection button on the top right of your screen or at the bottom of the listing.
Is my privacy respected?
We do all that we can to protect your information and identity. We do not share information with outside parties.Only Studdy Buddy and the researchers you connect with will know who you are.

“Go Studdy Buddy! We receive emails from potential participants all the time from Studdy Buddy. We just put our study up, and we have gotten many responses with out doing any recruiting ourselves!”
-Jui-Hong Chien, PhD, Research Program Coordinator at Johns Hopkins School of Medicine
"Studdy Buddy has made it so easy to find studies to be a part of. I love participating, learning about all different kinds of research, and discovering fields of work I knew little or nothing about. And, as a student, it’s always great to earn some extra cash. It’s great that I can just scroll through listings on the Studdy Buddy website or app and get in touch with researchers in just a couple of clicks.”
