We collect information from you when you make an account on our platform (our IOS application & www.studdybuddy.org).
Currently, we collect name, age, gender, location, email address, and height and weight are optional.

Any of the information we collect from you may be used in any of the following ways:
To personalize the studies you see on the platform
- Based on the demographic information you share with Studdy Buddy, we are able to link you to the most relevant studies faster.
To allow for rapid communication between you and the researcher
- By utilizing the email address you provide during registration, we are able to facilitate a seamless connection between you and researchers participating in Studdy Buddy.
To occasionally send emails with updates and notifications about new studies

Your information is stored on parse servers. Their security measures can be found here https://parse.com/about/security.

We do not sell, trade, or otherwise transfer your personal information to outside parties, but our coding partners at parse and github may be able to access your information. We also provide your personal information in correspondences with researchers in order to expedite the study process.

You may correct, update, or delete your information at anytime on the My Info tab on studdybuddy.org or on the IOS application. If you do not want to receive email updates, you have a choice to unsubscribe. Due to the nature of our platform, making an account implies you may not opt out of Studdy Buddy using your information for the reasons listed above except for email updates.

If we decide to change our privacy policy, we will post those changes on this page and notify you via email.
