Effects of Different Exercise Types on Irisin, Leptin, and Ghrelin Levels in Sedentary Women

Conditions: Exercise Physiology, Metabolic Hormones

Sex: Female
Ages: 18 Years – 24 Years
Healthy volunteers: Yes
Phase: NA
Enrollment: 20
Sponsor: Inonu University

Location: Exercise Physiology Laboratory, Faculty of Sport Sciences, Karabuk University Karabük Karabük Province

Summary

This interventional study aims to investigate the acute effects of three different exercise modalities-aerobic exercise, anaerobic exercise, and high-intensity interval training (HIIT)-on irisin, leptin, and ghrelin levels in sedentary women. A total of 20 sedentary women will participate in the study. Hormonal responses will be evaluated in relation to the exercise sessions to determine exercise-induced changes in irisin, leptin, and ghrelin and to compare the responses associated with the three exercise modalities.

Eligibility Criteria

Inclusion Criteria: Female participants Sedentary individuals Voluntary participation in the study Ability and willingness to complete the planned exercise sessions Exclusion Criteria: Inability to participate in the planned exercise sessions Withdrawal of consent or unwillingness to continue participation
