Summary

Adding local vancomycin to xenografts greatly benefits stability, bone density, and limits marginal bone loss in dental implants in infected socket.

Eligibility Criteria

Inclusion Criteria: * a badly decayed, hopeless tooth with periapical infection indicated for extraction and seeking implant placement Exclusion Criteria: * Acute infected socket. * Any socket with more than four wall defects.
