Summary

This study will compare the analgesic efficacy of daily single-shot adductor canal block(ABC) versus continuous ACB after total knee arthroplasty (TKA).

Eligibility Criteria

Inclusion Criteria:ASA classification I, II, IIIPatients scheduled for unilateral knee arthroplastyExclusion Criteria:Anesthesia other than spinal anesthesiaChronic opioid useUncontrolled diabetes of HbA1c>7.5Neuromuscular pathology of the ipsilateral legSecond-look knee arthroplastyInability to communicate (e.g. dementia)Hypersensitivity to ropivacaineBMI > 40Pregnancy
