Adaptive Cell Phone Support to Promote Medication Adherence

Summary

The goal of this pilot trial is to assess the feasibility, usability, acceptability and preliminary efficacy of Adaptive Cell Phone Support, a remote coaching intervention that provides computer-delivered support to all users and responsive human coaching to those demonstrating insufficient response to the computerized coaching elements alone.

Eligibility Criteria

Inclusion Criteria:Children's Hospital Los Angeles patientbetween 15-20 years oldtaking at least one oral medication per day for a chronic health conditionEnglish speakingdemonstrating sufficient cognitive capacity to engage in the assent/consent process and study procedures
