Mastiha or Mastiha Water in Functional Dyspepsia

The main aim of this study is to establish whether Mastiha products ameliorate functional dyspepsia symptoms.

Inclusion Criteria:functional dyspepsia diagnosis according toRome criterianegative urea breath test for Helicobacter pyloriupper gastrointestinal tract endoscopy with biopsyExclusion Criteria:organic diseases, such as peptic ulcer, gastrointestinal neoplasms, gastroesophageal reflux, irritable bowel syndromepregnancy or lactationhistory of abdominal surgery or actinotherapymental illnessSevere impairment of heart, liver, or kidney function or respiratory functionAlcohol overuse
