Overview

This research study assesses whether psilocybin, a natural psychedelic found in some species of mushrooms, may improve mood, quality of life, and cognitive function in participants with Mild Cognitive Impairment or Early-Stage Alzheimer's Disease, as well as the quality of life for people in close relationships with those individuals.

Eligibility

InclusionDepression and Early-Stage Alzheimer's or Mild Cognitive Impairment diagnosis; not currently taking anti-depressants; close friend or family member willing to share observed changes in mood or behavior
