Overview

Researchers at Johns Hopkins are investigating the effects of psilocybin—a psychoactive compound found in mushrooms—on brain activity and function, using transcranial magnetic stimulation, EEG, fMRI, and cognitive testing. For participants who have used a hallucinogen at least twice in their lifetime.

Eligibility

InclusionAges 22-55; medically and psychiatrically healthy; used a hallucinogen at least twice in lifetime but not in past 6 months; willing to travel to Johns Hopkins Hospital and Hopkins Bayview Hospital Campus for 12 study visits
